Choose your preferred wash during the booking. Note the price difference and booking duration.

Boat hull wash = 15-minute booking, where the boat hull is cleaned mechanically. This time is sufficient for a basic hull wash. If the boat has not been washed for a long time, we do not guarantee that the bottom will be completely clean within the booked time. Check out our Intensive Wash product, where the bottom is washed more thoroughly and the washing time is twice as long as a basic wash.

Hull + waterline wash = 30-minute booking, where the waterline and transom are washed by hand in addition to the basic hull wash on visible areas. The wash may require boarding the boat. The wash applies only to areas that are exposed and accessible.

Intensive Wash = 30-minute booking for situations where the hull has not been washed for an extended period. The wash lasts twice as long as a normal wash and is partially done manually. The wash focuses on removing dirt from the bottom.

Suitability:

• Fixed stations (Skata Marin, Herttoniemi):
  • The wash is suitable for boats under 11 m long and 3.3 m wide with no weight restrictions.
• Mobile stations:
  • The wash is suitable for boats under 10 m* long, weighing up to 3,500 kg, and 3 m wide.
  • NOTE! At some of our locations, we only wash boats up to 8 meters and 2,500 kg. Please check for special notes at the marina when booking.
• The wash is suitable for single-hull aluminum, fiberglass, plastic, and rubber boats. The wash is not suitable for wooden boats.
• The wash is not suitable for shaft-driven or keel boats.
• The wash does not damage the boat hull or its paint surface. We review any sensors, devices, or hull treatments that might prevent washing upon arrival.
• The wash is not suitable for boats painted with copper-based paint during the same season.
• If any paint comes off the boat hull during washing, we reserve the right to stop the wash. You may check the paint yourself by rubbing or scratching the surface if you suspect paint peeling.

* Washing possibility for 9–10 meter boats is evaluated case-by-case. Factors affecting washing include waterline length, hull shape, and the ramp where the boat is washed. 

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 14 days before the booked wash, and we will refund the payment. After this, the booking is binding. We reserve the right to cancel the wash day, in which case payments will be refunded to those who have booked. Please arrive well before the booked wash time.

The basic boat hull wash is priced according to the boat's length at a rate of €14.90 (incl. VAT 25.5%) per started meter. The length used is the entire hull length, not the waterline length.
