Barnacles are the number one nuisance in marine areas

"Barnacles are the number one nuisance in marine areas, so it is advisable to stay alert and brush off the barnacles before they harden and become big and tough."

WHAT
The first product was a floating brush mat called Powerturf, whose story started partly by accident when I got tired of painting with inefficient toxic paints, and built a bottom cleaning device for my own use. Seaboost continuously develops mechanical hull cleaning, and over the years the offering has been supplemented with, among others, the Powerbrush hull cleaning brushes. We also have in our selection a German coating called Overdrive, which is specifically designed for boats that are cleaned by brushing.
MY RELATIONSHIP TO BOATING
Boating for me is outdoor activity and enjoying nature. I spend my free time at a cottage on an island south of Korppoo. I move around the archipelago in an open connection boat also fishing and on trips. I also practice windsurfing.
HULL MAINTENANCE
Something sticks to all hulls and coatings including toxic paints during the season. Even a small layer of slime significantly affects the boat’s performance and fuel economy. Algae like sea lettuce typically start developing after Midsummer, and the pace accelerates as the water warms. When the water temperature reaches 18 degrees Celsius, barnacles typically attach within a few weeks.
